    Design and R&D

    The Technology Center was established in 2004. After years of development, it won the Zhejiang Enterprise Technology Center in 2011, the Provincial Enterprise Research Institute in 2012, the National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise in 2015, and the National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise in 2018. By the end of December 2020, 484 valid patents had been authorized, including 85 domestic invention patents and 6 international invention patents.

    The Technology Center has an existing building area of 10,000 square meters, and more than 80% of the existing technical personnel have a bachelor’s degree or above. It uses PLM, PDS, ERP, QMS, OA and other information management systems, and is equipped with office areas, innovation areas, installation areas, test areas, and production areas. The Technology Center is engaged in the research and development of electric tools, garden tools, forestry machinery, and intelligent products. The products are focused on technological innovation and intelligence.

    In 2008, the YAT laboratory was authorized by third party certification agencies like TÜV-RH, TÜV-SÜD, ITS, CSA, etc. as a "witness laboratory". In 2010, the laboratory was awarded "National Laboratory" by the China National Accreditation Committee for conformity assessment. In 2011, the laboratory was awarded the "Zhejiang Export Inspection and Quarantine Laboratory Evaluation of Enterprise Certificate" by Zhejiang Import-Export Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in fulfillment of testing on power tools, garden tools and gas products. The laboratory has the capability of performing numerous tests on power tools, garden tools, chain saws and petrol mowers to include: rise, safety, life, salt spray, environmental, EMC, and emissions testing.

    Modernized Automated Production Systems

    Oriented by production technology is transmitting, YAT is upgrading to merge “two integrations” production process automation and product information data. As a result, YAT can create new assembly lines on its own initiative and adopt semi-automation and full-automation in some process. Now we have already used automated equipment for on-line inspection, assembly, packaging and warehousing. 

    It is important to improve daily efficiency and support the production line to maintain quality consistency. With this production information (MES) system going into use the overall assembly capacity is greatly improved.

    Modernized Logistics Control Systems
    With the integration of MES, WMS, ERP, warehouse automation, loading and unloading mechanization, packaging standardization, transport process networking and integration of processing and distribution, the electronic utilization of system information management is realized. The operators, through a PDA, are guided by automatic input via an advanced information technology system resulting in the strategic realization of enterprise management data management and greater production automation.
